Our tick-sheet critiques always prove popular during contests, so we have now re-launched our more detailed critique service.

First, we rate each of ten elements in your story...



...and provide comments for technical improvements.

Then we outline all of the spelling and grammatical errors in your piece (if there are any, of course!) and make suggestions for making your story more publishable.

We can even put your story up on this website if you would like feedback from visitors to darktales.co.uk.

Of course, if your story is already good enough, we will ask if we can publish it here at Dark Tales!

We can also post your story online, if you like, so that you can get invaluable feedback from visitors to the Dark Tales website.
